I’m Jonny Kustow, a dedicated and independent professional wedding celebrant based in London.

With a semi-religious Jewish upbringing at home, my parents sent me to a Jewish school in North West London until the age of ten and so I was immersed from a young age in all of Judaism’s wonderful traditions. I then attended University College School (UCS) where many long-lasting Jewish and non-Jewish friendships were made.

After university, I spent more than 25 years in the music industry where I feel privileged to have met and worked with people from many different backgrounds, faiths and walks of life.

My celebrant journey began in 2014 when I was speaking to a close friend about a possible career change. Knowing me as someone who loves engaging with people, has excellent public speaking skills, a resonant voice and the ability to evoke emotions as well as being someone able to adapt to the dynamics of the moment, she immediately suggested I might love celebrancy. As it has turned out, she was so right and I’ve never looked back!

I truly believe that working as a celebrant is an honour and I am committed to creating unique ceremonies that reflect the beliefs, values and personalities of all the couples that I work with.  Above all, I take huge pride in being able to create a memorable experience for everyone.
