The Process

Step one.

I encourage you to contact me once you have chosen the date of your wedding. Dates from May to September in particular tend to get booked out very early, but I will always do my best to accommodate you.

Step two.

We will start off the process with a no-obligation telephone or video call where I can learn about your initial thoughts and ideas. This will also give you the chance to check me out to see if you would be comfortable for us to work together.

Step three.

Following our initial consultation, I will confirm what we’ve discussed and provide you with a full quotation along with my terms.

Once you’ve decided to go ahead, agreed to my Terms & Conditions and paid the deposit, the date will be booked for you exclusively. The price is also fixed when you book and will not change (subject to travel cost variations should the ceremony be abroad).

Step four.

At this point, I will also email you a summary of what we’d discussed along with a more detailed questionnaire for you to fill in. We will then meet again so I can get to know more about the two of you – where you met, what you have in common as well as your dreams and aspirations for your new life together. This information will be really helpful as I write your personalised Celebrant Address.

I will then set about creating a beautifully crafted bespoke ceremony script which I will share with you well before the date of your wedding ceremony. You may have your own ideas about readings as well as the wording of your vows, but I can of course make suggestions and help you with these.

And finally.

Should you require a rehearsal before the date of the ceremony, please let me know so that we can discuss the logistics of doing this. On the day of the wedding, I will arrive at the venue at least one hour before the start of the ceremony to liaise with photographers, wedding coordinators, venue managers and any guests who arrive earlier than intended.
